Headliner: The Alysha Monique Quartet - Bold, sensual vocalist Alysha mesmerizes audiences with the sultry vocal styling of jazz and soul music. Her endearing aura bewitches listeners into the essence of love, individuality and self-actualization. Surrounded by incredible musicians who strive to push their music to an innovative level, Alysha’s creativity and originality continue to ascend upward. An experience with Alysha is striking, genuine and poignant.
Opener: Vivian Garcia is a Chicago based singer-songwriter. Her musical journey has taken her from studying rumba flamenca rhythms in Granada, Spain to performing with international folk musicians in Madrid, Spain for 3 years as well as singing with various bands in Chicago. Vivian has performed at The Taste of Chicago, Metro,Thalia Hall, House of Blues, Double Door, Uncommon Ground as well as World Music Fest, Mole de Mayo, Pilsen Fest, Villapalooza and many local venues. She’s opened for Grammy winners La Santa Cecilia as well as Aterciopelados. Cold Bed is her first album and her latest EP, In Between Times, released February 2016, had her song Ven Conmigo featured on the daytime Emmy nominated show East Los High on HULU. Vivian is a TEDx speaker/performer and released her Genesis NFT project “Fly, Mariposa” in March 2022.

Headliner: Anna Soltys and the Familiar
Anna Soltys and the Familiar is a modern Folk Rock band with an entrancing new sound. Anna spent the first part of her childhood in Poland followed by 6 years in Paris before she moved to her self-proclaimed home, Chicago. It is the cross-cultural awareness that may awaken the type of delivery that is so unique to her sound. On top of the music, her lyrical, poetic content fills the heart with an awareness of the self we could all use a little of. Anna’s music explores and embodies elements of pain, strength, honesty, and sorrow. From start to finish, lyrically driven simple melodies leave you with a sense of colorful melancholy.

Headliner: The Chris Greene Quartet
The Chris Greene Quartet has been a highly visible part of Chicago’s jazz scene since 2005, and has maintained a stable lineup from the beginning, with the exception of Steve Corley, who has held the drum chair since 2011. Damian Espinosa on piano and keyboards and Marc Piane on acoustic and electric basses have been onboard since the beginning. Unique among Chicago bands, most of whom feature, by necessity, constantly shifting personnel, the CGQ has been able to develop a true group sound and feel, harking back to bands from the classic age of jazz when groups could stay together for long periods of time. While honoring the tradition, the CGQ incorporates elements of funk, hip-hop, rock, pop, the blues and reggae, reflecting their diverse backgrounds.
CGQ’s most recent record - “PlaySPACE 2 - Play Harder” recently received a 4 1/2 star rating from DownBeat Magazine. The band was also recently honored at the 2018 Chicago Music Awards with an award for “Best Jazz Entertainer” and recently won the “Best Jazz Band” category in the Chicago Reader “Best of Chicago” Poll.
