The Outpost Gives Back

We are grateful for the incredible generosity that has been shown to us, and love the opportunity to give back to our community in multiple ways.

ART FROM THE HEART: Here at the Outpost, we’re incredibly grateful for all of the support we’ve been shown by the community.
That’s why, aside from our scholarships, we have established a program to show our appreciation called Art from the Heart.

Art from the Heart is an initiative, inspired by AMO Co-Founder Valerie Kahan’s children Henry and Samantha Carr.
Art from the heart includes donatong our own excess supplies to Art from the Heart, where Henry and Samantha invite local kids to join them in creating small art kits to give to organizations that serve children and families. Whether they be slightly used, recycled materials, new art supplies, or full art kits with project instructions, the contributions made to the Art Makers Outpost may at times be used in part or in full for our Art From The Heart initiatives.

Additionally a few times a year at community events and makers pop up sales we offer a FREE table of random art supplies for kids to shop from for free to use for themselves or to give as gifts for the holidays. Check out our community event page for upcoming events.

POP-UPS: We love to partner with nonprofit organizations and fundraising initiatives to provide pop up tables and reusable art stations at their events.
We can currently do one per month and plan to to do more as we grow!
