COMMUNITY DRUM CIRCLE AT ART MAKERS OUTPOST

Monthly Community Drum Circle Leader:

T O N Y T O N E J I G A R R E TT is an Evanston based musician, teacher, percussionist and drum circle facilitator. He is experienced in the art of African and Latin styles of drumming and the varying rhythms in that genre. He teaches African rhythms on djembe and dundun drums as well as Afro cuban rhythm on conga and bongo drums.

Tony has over 30 years of public performance experience and 12 years experience as a teacher and drum circle facilitator. Tony follows the philosophy that drumming is an integral part of the human experience and that if you a heartbeat you have rhythm.

Tony also teaches private lessons out of Art Makers Outpost and is available for community and private events.

Drum circles at Art Makers Outpost take place on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7-10pm.

All ages & experience levels are welcome. (No alcohol allowed). This is a gathering of community, everyone is always welcome.

$5 suggested contribution per person.
