IN THE SUMMER OF 2025 we Are Offering10 weeks of creativity:
FLEXIBLE Morning & Afternoon Weekly Sessions
PLUS Creative Focus Afternoon Camps that are 2 weeks each!
Join us for 1 week, 2 weeks, mornings, afternoons, or all!
*Register up to 3 campers per session.
*There is a break between morning and afternoon sessions- no programing or care or lunch is offered. This is our break between sessions. If you would like to register for both morning and afternoon sessions during the same week(s) your child must leave between morning and afternoon sessions.
No Barrier Scholarships are available in 25%, 50%, 75% & 100% please email val@artmakersoutpost.com to inquire with your requested scholarship amount.

**50% refund if canceled before May 1st.

****If you need to switch sessions after registering, that is allowed as long as there is space in your requested program. We do not guarantee the opportunity to switch sessions but will make every effort. We always make it as easy as possible for you as long as there is space in the program you are switching to.

Summer Camp Mornings | Youth Artists in Residency
Weekly Morning Camps from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Ages 6-14
10 weeks of 1 week sessions from June 3rd-August 16th
Register for 1, or more, or all!
20 participants per session
Each week we will embark on a creative exploration of awesome materials using techniques in painting, collaging, sewing, printmaking, sculpture, woodworking, jewelry making, mixed media and so much more.
Your young artist will learn to use various tools, while they explore our studio full of reclaimed & new materials small and large while they create various free-form project based work! What will they create? Anything they can imagine!
Summer Camp Afternoons | Youth Artists In Residency
Weekly Afternoon Camps from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Ages 6-14
20 participants per session
During our afternoon sessions, as always whenever your child is at Art Makers Outpost, they are free to create whatever they can imagine- HOWEVER during these SPECIAL afternoons we will pull our specialty materials & focus our exploration on some specific art forms so your young artist will have the opportunity to go more in-depth with some of these special techniques while they create their masterpieces! As always just like in our morning sessions your young artist(s) are free to create anything they can imagine.

Youth Entrepreneurial Program & Makers Market
June 10th - June 21st (no camp June 19) from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Ages 10-17
Limited to 15 participants
Dive into the world of art, where you'll learn to create, name your craft, and set up your own art business.
During this immersive experience, participants will discover the joy of creating while acquiring essential business skills.
Join us for an incredible opportunity to unleash your artistic spirit and turn your passion into a business! Whether you love making slime, trading bracelets, making wearables, creating sculptures, or simply love to draw for fun, this program is designed for any youth artist ages 10-17.
Over two exciting weeks from June 10 to June 21, Monday-Friday 2:00-4:30 pm. June 21st Makers Fair 3:00-6:00pm. Dive into the world of art, where you’ll learn to create, name your craft, and set up your own art business.
During this immersive experience, participants will discover the joy of creating while acquiring essential business skills. From crafting business cards and learning to create their own brand to designing impactful signage and mastering the art of production, merchandising, pricing, and selling—this program covers it all.
Join a vibrant community of young artists, and showcase your unique creations at our Makers Market on Friday, June 21 (note the date change) - both to sell and see all your work in action. What’s even more exciting is that 75% of your sales will go directly to you, empowering you to pursue your artistic dreams. Additionally, 25% of the proceeds will support an initiative benefiting families in Evanston. Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow artists, enhance your skills, and make a positive impact through your creativity!
Specialty 2-Week Creative Focus Afternoon Camps:
Mural Camp & Unveiling Showcase
July 8th - July 19th from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Ages 10-17
Limited to 10 participants
Do you love painting? Street Art? Graffiti Spray Paint? Have you dreamed of having your art displayed for everyone to see and admire?
Join us for this deep dive into mural arts where you will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in creating a collaborative 4x24 foot mural that will be publicly displayed on the outside of the building at Art Makers Outpost.
With your peers, you will have the opportunity to learn new painting techniques using acrylic paint and spray paint to design and produce a street-side mural for all to see and celebrate!
Learn lettering techniques along with new design techniques to create a colorful mural of collaborative ideas with your peers!
Explore murals from around the world and enjoy being a resident studio artist for 2 weeks at Art Makers Outpost!
This camp is limited to a maximum of 10 participants and the last day of camp will include a celebration, ribbon cutting, and unveiling of the finished mural to invited guests and community, artist statements by the muralists, and a viewing of the design process showcasing each artist!
Counselor In Training Program
2 spots available during each Weekly Morning Camp Session | June 3-Aug 17
Ages 13-15 7Th Grade-12th Grade
Become a Counselor-in-Training (CIT), ideal first time jobs for kids ages 13-15, and dive into a world of creativity and inspiration!
As a CIT, you'll be part of a dynamic team working with kids, building your own leadership skills and style, guiding young artists through exciting artistic endeavors. Enjoy the opportunity to learn new artistic skills and fine-tune your craft while leading young artists eager to explore their creativity.
Your role as a CIT is not only rewarding but also comes with a discounted rate, making it an affordable and enriching experience. Join us in fostering a love for the arts and creating lasting memories with our young artists!
The Art makers Outpost Scholarship Fund
