At the heart of AMO is a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity. Every individual is welcome at our inclusive space and feel a sense of belonging.

We welcome everyone, and in that light, we do everything we can to make our programs accessible and available to all who want to participate in them. We are committed to creating opportunities for artists and musicians to thrive and develop.

A few ways we do so is by providing no barrier/ no excess paper work discounted and full ride scholarships that forgo the need for tuition/fees by maintaining a scholarship fund that individuals may contribute to, and we are very grateful for all contributions to that effort. We have ZERO outside funding or sponsorships for our core programs at this time. Our concerts are curated and produced as a labor of love by our team and most of the proceeds go to paying the artists. When we sell out we are able to cover most of our costs but not all and we depend on sponsors and contributions towards our efforts to continue to do what we do and grow. We offer tons of free community programming with no funding as well, community crafting days both in our space and out in community, heavily discounted field trips for students, markets for youth and adult artists and we offer space to community groups such as Considered Cloth, Evanston Writers and our Drum circles and space for lessons for community members.
